Motor runs paddle does not move, oil from attachment port

I just purchased a KitchenAid K5SS Stand Mixer. As I was cleaning it up and checking it out I found that oil is coming from thr attachment port. Is this bad and if it is, how do I fix this. Second, I turned the mixer on and the motor started. The paddle did not move until I tapped it slightly then it began to turn. This does not always happen. How do I fix this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
